Summer Fun at The Scottish Home
We had an outstanding summer here at The Scottish Home beginning with the Mother's Day Tea, Memorial Service, music by Bob Kalal and Alex Talbott in May. In June, we were visited by young dancers from Impact Dance Studio in LaGrange and concert Pianist Mark Damisch, who was preparing for a world tour. We also enjoyed a fun evening for the Dad's at "A Nite at the Races". The music of Eric Lucky and Steve Askins was enjoyed along with the talented West Suburban summer band. Finally, we closed out June with a Hawaiian Vacation. We began July with a Big Happy Birthday USA Party, ate homemade pizza, and listened to the music of Roxanne Anzelone and Larry Levin. Of course July was filled with trips for pie and ice cream. Due to our Caledonian expansion our annual picnic in August was much smaller but not any less fun with music, clowns, bingo, Highland Dancers and great food. We celebrated VJ Day with stories and treats and got the place jumpin over the life of "Mr. Bojangles" Ropbinson with a visit from Mr. Taps. Everyone enjoyed our beautiful gardens with walks, outside exercise classes and sing-a-longs. A visit from Trinity High School students made the month complete. Please <click here> to see pictures.
