Annual Picnic

The Scottish Home held their 94th annual picnic on Saturday August 7th on the grounds of the Scottish Home.  This event, open to the public, is a family favorite and featured many different activities. A tradition for nearly a hundred years, the Scottish Home picnic began as a time for families of our residents to do spring cleaning, yard work and make repairs at the Home.  Now the staff of the Home does all of the work and the picnic has become a social event that it not to be missed.

Testimonials

“I want to express my sincere gratitude…to everyone at the Scottish Home for the wonderful care you gave Pat…God must have been watching over us when we were able to move her there.  I know how content and appreciated she felt during her stay thanks to the care of so many who attended to her.  It was such a comfort to me to know she was in such a wonderful home.  May you forever be blessed for the wonderful work you do.”
